After showing Margaret and Violeta my Quince & Co purple linen Perkins Cove top, I was obsessed with re-knitting it with the leaves-dyed silk yarn (result of an early AKIC natural dyeing experiment ).

For one, it was way too big (again). Above with my mum in January when I finished it in HK (here with a 150 icebreaker). I wore it to work too in the summer and immediately got the dropped loop caught on something.

When I did a tension square for the silk, I realised I did the YO2 wrong – which resulted in enormous loops. So when I finish this one with the silk, I will have to rip out the linen one and knit something else!

The yarn is squeaky to knit, is it the silk, the dye or just me?
