Herringbone Stitch

Came across this “herringbone stitch” on tumblr. Anyone seen this kind of stitch before? And how do you do it?

    Take a look at PurlBee.com (it’s PurlSoho’s blog) and search for “herringbone”. There is a man’s scarf in beige with the stitch pattern on the page.

    That’s a good blog, attached to what looks like a good shop (of which there is a dearth here in London).

    I’d like to know too! I sometime get good info from the iknit blog for shop if same name near Waterloo, which also has good selection of fine wools, sofa, refreshments both soft and hard, and events. Worth a look if you haven’t come across it before.
